Johnson, Regan – Writer and Illustrator
Posted April 23, 2005 in Members

As a child, Regan Johnson taught herself to draw horses so she could occupy the time not actually riding them. As she neared middle school, a friend inquired if she could draw other things as well. If not for the curiosity of that friend, Regan Johnson may never have studied art in school and become the artist here today (she’d also like to not think about the successful horse breeder career that was derailed by that same curiosity). Nowadays Regan is looking to expand her illustrative work into children’s books, and to illustrate stories she has written herself as well as collaborating with other writers. And while Regan Johnson does not possess any pearl earrings like the one shown here, she is grateful that she does have eyebrows.
