The New SCBWI Newsletter

Debbie:

Here’s a test of the new system I’ve built (got paid to build one, so I adapted it for us). From now on, you’ll write the newsletters as Posts in WordPress. All you have to do is set the category of the post as Newsletter and it will be sent that way. There’s one other thing you need to do to put in the date, but I won’t get into that here.

Also, you’ll no longer need to put “things you may have missed recently” in your newsletter. Look at that right sidebar, because it contains the link to the next meeting and the 8 most recent posts on the site. Fun, huh?

So now you’ll be able to write these as posts, saving drafts until you’re ready. Then just send me the URL and I’ll have it sent out, all pretty-like.

What do you think?
