Houston is hosting the Texas Library Association conference (TLA) in April 2012. If you are a published SCBWI member with PAL listed books, this is your opportunity to have your information distributed to librarians in Texas, the perfect way to be considered for school visits and other speaking engagements.

Again, all five Texas SCBWI chapters have joined together to produce a Speakers Guide to be given out to the librarians at TLA.

TLA is often cited (and rarely disputed as) the best state show in all of the US. It lives up the adage “everything is big in Texas”.

Attendance is consistently over 7,000 librarians and exhibitors. This show attracts all types of librarians but with the primary mix being from school and public libraries.
