Holiday Event and Conference Update
The deadline for outreach donations is Thursday, December 8th, the date of the Holiday Hoedown, being held at Opal Divine’s Marina from 5:30 to 7:30. There is still room for you on the guest list. Simply fill in the RSVP form on that party page and you’re in! Sign up right away. The party simply will not be the same without you. 2012 Regional Conference – Something for Everybody - Special Note: I’d like to thank everyone for their patience while we worked to restore the website’s on-line banking component. The week the service was down was a frustrating one for us all and so, because of this, we’ve decided to extend the Early-Bird Registration deadline until December 15th. It’s the least we can to try to make things right. There are a handful of spaces still available for the Lisa Yee Full Day Intensive in which she will be presenting her not-to-be-missed Master Class from last summer’s SCBWI National conference. There are a few critique slots left with our Esteemed Guest, as well as our Local Shining Stars. Art director, Patti Harris has some spaces open, too….just a-waiting for you! Take some time to poke around the line-up and you will see that there is, truly, something for everybody at this conference. It’s going to be great! So, before you start checking off those holiday lists, maybe take a moment to buy a gift for yourself. Register for the conference and make an investment in your craft and business savvy. A gift that keeps on giving. No batteries necessary. No assembly required. I hope to see you at the Hoedown! Best, Debbie |
