Plus, he will be featured in a little blurb in their fall catalog.

Pretty nice considering the book won’t publish until mid-October. Way to go, Don!!!

A committee sponsered by the New Mexico Library Association, the New Mexico Council of the International Reading Association and the New Mexico State Library selects three lists of books–Picture Book, Children’s, and Young Adult. In April, New Mexico youth read at least three books from one of these lists and vote on their favorite.

Where else can you laugh and dance, boldly howl at the moon, and make new friends that will surely last a lifetime? Where else can you attend an international event dedicated to keeping the artist within you validated and inspired? That place is LA at the SCBWI National Conference, my friend…and next year we need YOU there!
