I have been in education for 26 years. For the past ten years I have taught ELA to middle school students. Being the teacher, when my students wrote, I wrote. It is from this writing with my students that I decided to try my hand at writing for more than just in class.
I am currently enrolled in The Institute of Children’s Literature course “Writing for Children and Teenagers.” It can be overwhelming…now I understand how my students felt! It is my hope to find the stories that I have in me to write and DO IT!! |
