Austin based artist, Rose Bartush is a native of Pottsville, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Tulane University in 1993 with a Master's degree in Architecture and practiced in both New Orleans and Austin before following her first passion, art. She founded House of Goo in 2002, a company specializing in children's art and apparel. Her art feeds the imaginations of children and unleashes the inner child in all of us by transforming zoological and entomological creatures into whimsical characters. Today Rose continues to gain inspiration from nature and her nephews Henry and Gus.
