April Lurie is the author of a middle-grade novel, DANCING IN THE STREETS OF BROOKLYN (Random House 2002), and a young adult novel, BROTHERS, BOYFRIENDS, AND OTHER CRIMINAL MINDS (Random House 2007). She was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and now lives with her family in Round Rock, Texas.
