Living at the edge of the Hill Country with her husband, Pat enjoys writing when not herding their three cats or photographing the area and its wildlife. For children, she retells folktales and pens short stories, for both of which she is collecting rejection letters—so far. Currently, she has a YA mystery and a couple of middle-grade short stories in the works. Her articles on topics such as self-publishing, personality profiles, gardening, wildlife, and restaurant reviews have appeared in regional and professional publications. Using her background as a high-school Latin and English teacher, computer consultant, and textbook/multimedia editor, she manages her day job—writing and editing projects for other authors. William Powell, Myrna Loy, and Asta star in The Thin Man series, Pat’s all-time favorite movies. Her favorite authors are Josephine Tey and Laura Ingalls Wilder. pgs2508@austin.rr.com
