Andrea's been working on a couple of YA novels so long they will soon qualify as historical fiction. A former middle school librarian, she loves YA fiction and never fails to be amazed at all the complex words she encounters when she attempts to read adult literature. She cut her teeth in journalism, and has published and edited non-fiction articles on and off over the years. She lives in a state of frenzy with her husband, two kids, and a dog whose number of therapy sessions rival Andrea's own. The family's bearded dragons maintain a much slower pace; if Andrea could get over the crickets, she wouldn't mind slipping into their tank for an extended nap on the warm rock.
