Contrary to what they taught in her degree program at the University of Texas, Carol enjoys doing several styles well – ranging from cartoons to photo-realism. However the themes of color, movement, and love are a constant in her work. A “people person”, humans are her special area of interest but she successfully depicts animals, nature -- anything, in fact -- in order to tell a story.
